Käsipalloturnauksia Slovenian Koperissa 2020

Dear handball friends,

Koper offers excellent conditions for organize sport events, such as 7th KOPER HANDBALL CUP – the International Easter Handball Tournament and 28th EUROFEST – European Handball Festival. We are pleased and proud that both events have become recognizable and popular. Because of the limited accommodation capacities, we have to limit the number of applications on both. On this occasion, we invite you to send our invitation to the handball clubs, which may be interested in participation.

7th Koper Handball Cup will take place from 10 to 12 April 2020. We expect about 110 teams from 9 different countries, with approximately 1500 participants. The competitions will take place in 8 halls. The tournament will feature both men’s and women’s teams in the following categories: 2010 (mini), 2009 (mini), 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2003. The novelty of this year’s Koper Handball Cup is the category of wheelchair handball. In addition to the tournament matches, there will also be organized evening events.

At the 28th Eurofest, which will be held from 2.7. to 7.7.2020, we expect about 200 teams from 20 different European and Asian countries, with approximately 3,500 participants. During the day, competitions will take place in 7 halls and 2 central venues (attractive handball courts with sport flooring) right by the sea at Ukmar Square or in the city center of Koper at Tito Square. You are kindly invited to submit your team to the men and women categories: 2010 (mini), 2009 (mini), 2008, 2007. 2006, 2005, 2003, 2000, senior teams, beach handball.

Since Eurofest is much more than just handball, participants can also enjoy the Mediterranean seaside in their spare time, and in the evening they can attend various evening events (opening ceremony, Miss & Mr Eurofest, karaoke, etc.). The goal of the organizer is to connect young people, make new friendships and fond memories. It promotes learning about different cultures and eachothers respect.
